Wolfman Bushel Basket

I made this cute bushel basket today using these files from SVGCuts:  I plan on putting a caramel apple or other goodies inside!

**Caramel Apple Pie SVG Kit (Bushel Basket)
**Halloween Cuddly Friends SVG Collection (Wolfman)
**Party On Elm Street Kit (raffle ticket handle)

The basket is embossed using my cuttlebug and inked all over the edges.  I also used a stamp from a cute new stamp set from Punkin' Patch Stamps called Trick or Treat

The basket is actually pretty big...the wolfman itself is 5" high and the basket is about 5" round.

Spider & Cauldron Test Tube Candy Holder

I know it's almost Halloween, but I love this project and am excited to share it!!  Quick~get crafting and make one!!

I got my inspiration from Happy Life, Crafty Wife to make this adorable test tube holder.  You can see her creation and get the free svg file for the holder HERE.  I re-did the file to fit the test tubes I had and to add 3 holes instead of 2.  (Don't ask me why, but my dad has tons of different test tubes at his house...lol...so I didn't have to order any!  Yay!)

The other files I used are from SVGCuts called Party On Elm Street.  I also used the awesome stamps from Punkin' Patch Stamps!  I used stamps from the Trick or Treat and Little Monsters sets.  Go check out the cute stamps they have.

For the spider, I just sized it to what I wanted, and then made a shadow of it and welded it to the top if the test tube file.  For the cauldron, I sized that to fit the space I wanted to attach it to.  I actually made it a little longer than how it comes since I had the extra space.  I only made 1/2 of the cauldron and I added little paper tabs on the inside edges so it attaches nicely to the front of the box.  It is a good size too and deep...it will fit 4 mini candy bars in there!  Woo hoo!

I did some embossing, lots of inking, added some funky, hairy ribbon, a few black buttons and embellished!  This box is 9 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide just to give you an idea how big it is. My test tubes are 5/8" in diameter and 5 3/4" tall.  I got the corks at Home Depot.  They are filled with Gobstoppers, Nerds and M&M's.

Hope you enjoy my project ~~ Happy Halloween!

Wooden Coffin

Here is a "wooden" coffin I made using the files below from SVGCuts. (Sorry for the bad pics....As much as I want to be, I'm just not a photographer!)
*Haunted Hemlock Cards SVG Kit  (FLOWERS)
*Hazel's Wicked Witch Crafts SVG Collection
*Salazar's Scary Squares SVG Collection
*Spooky Silhouettes SVG Collection
*Gothic Flourishes SVG Collection
*Elmhurst Hollow SVG Kit (large coffin)

I also used a stamp from Punkin' Patch Stamps:
*Trick or Treat

I used my Cuttlebug to emboss all the panels to look like wood and then then inked all the edges. I added small silver brads on each corner to look like nails.  The door is just the front panel from the Elmhurst Hollow file with a long rectangle welded to one of the sides so it opens as if on hinges.  I just cut out a variety of spooky svg's and randomly placed them around the front.

Frankenstein Treat Holders

Aren't these just the cutest little guys......and girls?!  They are treat holders and are approx. 4" x 5" tall.  The free svg file came from Scraps For Life (this is what my folder said, but I couldn't find them on facebook to link!??)  They are so, so simple to put together and perfect size for some yummy Halloween treats.  I added a hair bow and eyelashes for the girl!

Get "Butter" Soon Door Hanger

I used the Door Hanger file from My Scrap Chick  and just enlarged and widened it.  It has the pocket, so you can add a good instant soup mix inside, or maybe a variety of hot teas or whatever may help someone to "Feel Butter"!  The cute little pats of butter can be found HERE.

Doughnut Card

3rd project challenge from My Scrap Chick:  Donuts!
I turned this into a card as well.  I just love cards!  I printed the sentiment from my printer onto cardstock.  I embossed the frosting on the doughnut and did some inking.  Pretty simple~but oh so cute!  Enjoy!
You can get the file from HERE!

Corn Card

My second challenge project from My Scrap Chick:  I had to make something with this adorable little ear of Corn! I turned it into a shape card.  The yellow part got embossed , lots of inking around the edges of course!  My sentiment was printed out and then punched out from a shape punch.  Tied some twisted yarn around the bottom and done!  I think he's pretty cute! You can get the file from THIS SET HERE:

PB & J Recipe Card

So there was a challenge at My Scrap Chick (ADORABLE files by the way!) to use one of her Kawaii food svg files and come up with something cute.  I volunteered to use 4 of her files and come up with 4 different ideas.  The first file was this cute PB & J and this is what I came up with.  I just found a recipe online that uses peanut butter and jelly, printed it on cardstock and then added the little cuties.  The PB&J have pop dots on the back to have them stand out so everything is not so flat.  The sentiment is just from my collection of stamps.  I cut out the same shape as the jelly and stamped on that.

How cute would this be to buy a bread pan, a jar of peanut butter and jelly, maybe a few other ingredients, add the recipe card and wrap it all up and give as a gift!? I haven't tried the recipe, by the way, but it sounds good. Let me know if you happen to try it!

Presents and Peppermint Card

I made another card using Kate's Holiday Silhouettes SVG Collection.  I love this set from SVGCuts!  I also used a stamp from Punkin' Patch Stamps that coordinates with the svg set.  The set is called Holiday Traditions. The background of the card is from Salazar's Scary Squares SVG Collection.  I thought it looked like a peppermint, so it went perfect with the stamp.  I added a little bling to the snowflakes and some glitter touches too.  Love a touch of glitter and sparkle!  Each present piece is embossed with a different embossing folder, then I added some glitter to the embossed parts.  Instead of using the svg ribbon, I tied a piece of real ribbon around the whole package.

Snowflake Kisses Card

I am so ready for winter to be here, or at least what we in Tucson call "Winter"...lol.  Hey!  At least it gets chilly for a few months!

So, here is a large card I made (5 1/2" x 8 1/4") using SVGCuts Winter Bliss SVG Collection and Kate's Holiday Silhouettes SVG Collection.  I love the Winter Bliss collection!  I have never really noticed it before until I started looking for winter files.  This one is adorable and has lots of cute files in it!  And of course all the Kate's Silhouettes files are amazing!

I also used a stamp from the Holiday Traditions stamp set from Punkin' Patch Stamps.  The stamp fits right on a svg that is made specifically for it from Kate's Holiday Silhouettes!  The sign hangs from the snowflake from tiny silver brads.

The little snowflakes are from a punch that I had in my collection that I got a long time ago probably from Michael's.  I added some of these snowflake to her dress.

The large snowflake is white chipboard. They came in a big pack that I ordered online last year and am finally getting around to using them.  I put glitter all over them to make them nice and sparkly. I had some blue, glittery string that I wrapped around the large snowflake and then added a button.

I really like the soft, wintry colors of this AC Cardstock.  I also love the snow in the windows!  Hope you enjoy the card~

Frankenstein! ~My Favorite Monster~

Here are a few cards I made using files from SVGCuts and Punkin' Patch stamps.  The svg files are Monster Mash SVG Collection and Salazar's Scary Squares SVG Collection.  The stamp is from the Trick or Treat set from Punkin' Patch Stamps.

The card is pretty simple, but fun I think!  I added lots of inking for highlights, silver brads for his "bolts", and a cute little ripped sign displaying the sentiment.  There is orange craft wire wrapped around the part that is torn back.

Love this scary little guy! How about you?

Snowman Card

I have always loved this card!  I made a ton of cards like this a long, long time ago....LOL... The original design came from a Stampin' Up! catalog and I used the stamp set from them to make the cards.  Well, I thought of recreating the same card using files from SVGCuts

The snowman "parts" are from the Christmas Cookie Party SVG Collection.  (I made the arms longer by just cutting with scissors)

The sentiment is just hand-written using a white gel pen.  The background snowflakes are stamped using white ink.  They actually have glitter on them too, but it's not noticeable in the pictures.  I inked the edges of the snowman parts and added some white highlights to them as well.  The white frame is just made in SCAL using rectangle shapes and the "snow" is hand cut **GASP!** using scissors and then inked edges in blue.

Sorry the pictures are kinda crummy...I am still trying to get the whole photography thing down...it's hard!!  Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't...oh well.  :)  Let me know how you like the card!  Try it out...it is so simple!!!
