Dr. Seuss Book Holder

At my son's school, they are collecting items to make themed baskets to raffle off at their school carnival.  All the Kindergarten classes are making a Dr. Seuss themed basket.  I could of just went and bought a few books to toss in the basket, but I wanted to make something a little extra special and this is what I came up with. I love how it turned out!!

Here are the files I used:
SVGCuts: Football Party SVG Kit  (Napkin Holder box)
KaDoodle Bug Designs: Read Me A Story (Cat)
Treasure Box Designs: Cat & Friends (Thing 1 & 2)

I just love this cat file!

Just a few buttons to add some embellishments.

I added some colorful ric-rac to the sides.

Here on the back, I just printed a quote from a book on the textured card stock.

Wedding Gazebo ~ Western Themed

I was asked to make a Gazebo for someone who is getting married and having a western themed wedding in one.

I found the perfect file to make one from A Little Hut.  It came together beautifully and I loved how it turned out!  You can find the Gazebo file HERE.

For the tiling on the roof, I used wood grain paper and then inked all the edges.  It turned out great and even looks pretty real!

The pictures in each of the windows are black & white printed on vellum.  I attached the pictures to heavy duty clear acetate and then attached to each one of the walls.  This allows you to see still inside the gazebo, keeping it open and also gives the sides more sturdiness and strength.

When a battery operated tea light is placed inside, the light shines through the vellum pictures and looks amazing!

The western themed embellishments are just stickers placed around and I added a few simple white bows to give it a bit of a girly touch.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Cup of Warmth ~ Gift and Card Pocket Holder

I used files from Fleurette Bloom to create this cute and cozy gift.  Such a cute mug and cuts wonderfully!  You can add a gift card to a favorite coffee shop or add a few packets of hot chocolate or coffee inside.  Also tuck a little card inside with a nice message!

The digital papers printed so nicely and I love they way the green, browns and stripe papers turned out!

The files used from Fleurette Bloom are:

The twine I used is from Trendy Twine called Totally Kraft.  Love this stuff!

I added some small, white brads in the corners.  Lots of inking to add some warmth and foam pop dots to add dimension to the mug.  The white gel pen adds some cute highlights here and there.

The Pocket Card is from the Silhouette Store (Treat Pocket).  The stamps are from Stampin' Up.

Go check out Fleurette Bloom and Trendy Twine!

Money Roll Boxes

Just a quick share today~these are money roll boxes from the Silhouette Store.  The file is super easy to put together!  I didn't decorate them up too much, but still fun.  They were for my twins birthdays and who cares about the box when there is money inside!

Inchworm Card

Here is a cute card I made using a file from Fleurette Bloom called Inchworm!  What a cute file and cuts so perfect.  It is so easy to put together and the color combos are endless!  I chose these colors to go with the twine.

I used bakers twine from Trendy Twine ~ the cute color is Lime Grapesicle.  I wrapped it around the long, white rectangle and tied it with a bow.

I pulled out my sewing machine and added some quick zig-zag stitching with white thread along the edges.  I used a white gel pen to add some cute dots here and there for highlights and lots of inking around all the paper piecings.  For dimension, I added foam pop dots.

The green polka dot cardstock is actually fuzzy velvet and feels so nice!  And the purple cardstock has a stone-like texture to it...so lots of texture going on with this card!

The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set.
Make sure you go check out all the great files from Fleurette Bloom!

Silly Monster Card

Here is a simple little card I made for a birthday boy.  The file is from SVG Cutting Files called

Little Piggy Card

Here is a cute card I made using a file from Fleurette Bloom called "Piggy".  Isn't it just too cute!  The pig is also on a action wobble so it jiggles all around...what a happy little piggy!

The twine I used is from Trendy Twine and the color is called Bubblegum Taffy.  I punched holes all around the center circle and then threaded it through for a stitching look.  I also added bows on the pigs ears.

The scalloped rocker card is from the Silhouette Store.

The sentiment was printed on the computer and punched out.

I inked all the edges of the cut piecings and everything is popped out using foam pop dots for lots of dimension.

Make sure to check out all the great files from Fleurette Bloom!
