Animal Cutie Cards

I loved the Animal Cuties set that Fleurette Bloom came out with and wanted to make some large cards (5x7) with them. They went along perfectly with the stamps from My Craft Spot!  The stamps I used are Cute Critters and Tasty Treats.  The files I used to create the cards are below.

So, here are my projects I made for this hop.  I like to make cards and I kept these pretty simple and sweet.  I used clear acetate on both so they are see-thru.  It's a fun idea!

Here is the first card and the files I used are:

*Tranquil Tree (tree & clouds)

*for the tree paper I used and printed from the Bunny Hop Coordinating Paper Collection

Flower Basket (butterflies & flowers)

Little Critters Kit (bluebird)

I put the stamped sentiment and some clouds on the inside of the card and it shows through.  I added some tiny gems and some white highlights with a white gel pen and things are popped out using foam pop dots.

Another really simple, but cute card~here is my second one and the files I used.

Kites In The Air

The sentiment is a stamped image from my Stampin' Up collection and I just added a few sparkly flower gems.  The printed cloud background is on the inside and the kite is on the outside on the card.

Tea Time Box Card

I love the popular box cards that are all the rage now and SVGCuts has recently come out with some cute ones. 

 This one is from the Box Cards SVG Kit.

They are really simple to make and fold flat for mailing!

Bee Hive Card

I love the way this card turned out that I made

using files from My Scrap Chick!  The files I used are:

The stamped sentiment comes from my Stampin' Up stash.

Vinyled Insulated Cups

I found these reusable plastic cups at Walmart and thought they would be perfect to give to everyone to use on our trip to a resort for the weekend.  They were a last minute idea, so I quickly made them a few hours before we left.  All the files (except for the Minecraft Creeper-found searching online) come from the Silhouette store.  

Potato Chip Slide Card

I have always loved this file from SVG CUTTING FILES and finally decided to make a birthday card for a friend using it. The file is called Bag of Chips Slide Card.  I didn't change anything from the already adorable file, just went with the same idea!

The potato chips are run through a Fiskars Crimper to get the ripples and inked to give the cooked look.  So cute!

The insert slides out to reveal your message!

Coffee Cup Card

I made this card for a friend's birthday. The cute and simple file comes from My Scrap Chick called the

Latte Cup Card.

I added a few pink gems, some brown/white twine and white gel pen for highlight dots.  

The sentiment comes from Stampin' Up.

Polaroid Card

I made this card for my brother for his birthday and ended up just loving this file from SVGCuts!  It comes from the Instant Memories SVG Kit.

"You Complete Me" - Puzzle Card

I have seen cards similar to this on Pinterest and wanted to make my own version using files from My Scrap Chick.

Here is what I used:

For the puzzle pieces, I wanted them thick like a real puzzle piece, so I cut out 8 of each one and glued them all together.  They feel thick like chipboard!  The sentiment was just printed and cut banner style.

"Be Happy" Beach card

Today I am sharing a fun, summer card I made using files from My Scrap Chick!  I wish I was there with my feet in the sand!

I used all patterned paper and really like the way it turned out.

"Relax" Drink Card

This card really makes me want to get to the beach and Relax!!  I used a few files from My Scrap Chick and combined them on a basic 5x7 card.  The drink cup has a frosted vellum over the bright yellow inside and really looks cute. Great simple files to work with and everything in the store is only $1.00 right now!
