Hello Kitty Decorations

These are decorations I made for my Niece's 2 year Birthday Party.  I finally got to use my Hello Kitty Cricut Cart...I very rarely use carts, but I was excited to use this since I got a excellent bargain on it and knew I would use it one day!!

Here is a cute banner with her name.  I embossed each letter in her name with dots to match the ribbon with dots.
Love the balloon flowers!! I saw these somewhere and this was the perfect occasion to make them!
 More balloon flowers!!
Here is a welcome sign with her name.  Love the cupcakes!!  I did embossing on these too and added glittery "sprinkles".
The paper matches perfect with the dots!

A Tabletop Centerpiece using the Hello Kitty cart and a rosette from the Vintage Paper Rosettes collection from SVGCuts.  The letters are made using SCAL and I just glued them together on the rosette.

Purses

Here are a few of the purses I have made using a file from Amelie's Accessories from SVGCuts.  I love this collection and the purses are so easy to make and assemble....it is amazing how much time and effort Mary puts into her files to make it easy for us!  I still need to make the shoe!! ( I have yet to make one of those...so much on my to-do list!!)

Ouch!! Card

I made this card awhile ago for my son when he broke his leg and had a full leg cast on (and is now in a half cast). I love this card and think it is so cute and looks just like him!  The file is from  collections from My Scrap Chick. (Family & Friends and Medical Bears). I turned the ambulance into a card by welding 2 pieces together.

Girl Graduation Card

I made this card for my daughter to give to her after Promotion tomorrow! (still in the process of making my son's....lol...and hope to get it done)  I used a svg collection from Little Scraps of Heaven called Congrats To the Grad.  I like the little pearls around her neck that I added! This is done in her school colors.

Spring Surprise Box

Here is a box I made using many different collections and files from SVGCuts. I just took different files an pieced them all together.  I wanted to have a box that when the receiver opened it, there would be a big, beautiful surprise inside that she could use as a decoration and when finished, it can be folded nicely back in the box! It folds like an accordion and has 6 panels.  This is what I came up with.  The box is from Crush On You.  Some of the other files I used are Waterfall Cards, Spring Birdhouses, Robin's Return, My Happy Garden Hideaway & Easter Morning Egg Hunt.  I entered this into the SVGCuts Forum Spring Challenge and won 1st place! Yay!

Party Hats

Here are some Party Hats I made awhile back using the Party Hat freebie from SVGCuts. On the Dinosaur Train Hat, I also used the Toy Train around the bottom of the hat.  The shape behind the dinosaur is just from SCAL in the shapes window and sized to what I needed.

On the Hello Kitty Hat, I used the Vintage Paper Rosettes Kit along with the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge. The flowers are from a paper punch and I attached the kitty onto the rosette.  These hats are sooo easy to make...just cut and put the tab through...that's it!  Super cute to decorate for any occasion!!

Graduation Crackers!

I made these crackers for 3 of my children's school Promotions this week. I  wanted a little something to give to them when they are all done.  Still not sure what I will put in them...either chocolate, candies or money.....hmmmm.   This was the first time making these and they were so incredibly easy to make!!  I see lots of crackers in my future parties!  The colors I chose are my children's school colors and I wanted them to look like diplomas, so I kept them simple white. I used 3 freebies from SVGCuts to make these cute, fun gifts.  I used Christmas Cracker, Graduation Gift Tag and Mortar Board.  I think the Tag and Mortar Board may be retired?(not completely sure about this)   But you can find them (or something very similar) in this collection here. The lettering I just made myself using SCAL and welded the letters together.  Very simple to do!  Hope you enjoy!

Wii Remote Party Favors & Centerpiece Decoration

My daughter is having a Wii Birthday Party, so I decided to make these favors for her to give to her friends.  The set from SVGCuts.com was perfect for this!!  I used the collection called Give A Gift Card SVG Kit.  Instead of adding a gift card, I just printed a simple thank you design on some cardstock and cut to fit.  I filled each remote with mixed candies and then glued shut.  They are heavy!!  But oh so cute!  She is excited to give them to her friends tomorrow.  oh yeah!.....see the names....I added the double i's (and j's) to make it look like the Wii logo!

I made this table centerpiece also to match.  The file is from Scrapping Bug Designs. My daughter's favorite
color is green, so I used this color in the background and on the remote ribbons. I used a rosette from SVGCuts Vintage Paper Rosettes Kit.

Pool Table Card

Look what I did with Mary's 3D Pool Table Box from The Green Room SVG Kit......I turned it into a card!  The cue stick is still 3D though! I just sized everything to fit on a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" large card.  I added tiny black brads around the outside where the holes were for some added 3D effect.  Adding some metallic twine, a tiny button and a punched, stamped sentiment, just adds a little extra to it.  I also put clear craft lacquer on the pool balls to make them glossy and raised a little. I know....I know....they are not in the right order!  lol

Thanks to all my new followers!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for my new followers! I get so excited when I see new people!  LOL!  I would love to hear feedback from all of you and would love for you to share my blog with your friends!  Thanks for stopping by!

Silhouette Birthday Card

Using files from Kate's Silhouettes Collection and Townhouse Windows, I came up with this card that is simple and perfect for a birthday ~ The hanging Chandelier is from a cart called Home Decor.  I added ribbon and hanging on it is a metal Happy Birthday sentiment from Making Memories Curling Tags.

Tea Pot Card

This is a card I made for Mother's Day using the Chamomile Friendship Cards Collection.  I have had this collection for awhile, but had never used it.  I love it....I wish I hadn't waited so long! The little tea bag hanging out of the pot is actually a cardstock sticker that I had left over from something.  I added an antique looking button in the middle of the flower.

My Hero, My Friend, My Dad Card

I made this card for my Dad for his birthday, but I think it would be perfect for Father's day as well!  I used several collections and files from SVGCuts.  The files I used are:
*Notecard Captions (for the word Friend and I just cut off the "for my" part.  You can easily make the word in SCAL)
*Cliff's Clubhouse Cards (I used the Car Card and welded two of them together, but hand cut off 1, so I then had  a tri-fold card)  Does that make sense? lol
*My Hero Caption Freebie  (I just used the "My Hero caption" and the banner)
I used some twine, buttons, stamps & eyelets just to add some "extra" to it.  The word "DAD" was just made in SCAL and sized to fit the banner.  On the white pages I am going to add a few pictures and a happy Birthday stamp.

Hope you enjoy...let me know what you think!

Flower of Life Card

I made this card using the file Flower Of Life Symbol from SVGCuts.com. It cut out so beautifully!  The butterfly is from Sunny Weekend Purses.  I cut two butterflies out to give it a little more 3D and shadow effect.  I also added some white pearls and a simple ribbon on the side to dress it up a bit. Of course I did white inking around the edges to soften.  I like how simple the card looks but how it really stands out with the black and white!  This could be used for just about any occasion.
