Autumn Sunflower Card

My favorite flower...the Sunflower!  Here is a Fall-ish card I made using files from SVGCuts and the cute, new stamps from Punkin Patch Stamps.  From SVGCuts, I used Linus' 3D Fall Cards SVG Kit and 3D Mums & Fall Flowers.  The stamps that were used are: Heirloom Traditions and Autumn Air (small sunflowers).  I stamped the word "cozy" and added the little leaf to it, then used a circle punch to punch it out.  Then I inked around the edges to give it some warmth.  The sunflowers were stamped and inked with a few different colors and cut out.  I added a folded rectangle, inked the edges to make it look "worn", tied some twine around it and then added my stamped message with inked edges.  The stamp is not straight, so I just cut around to follow the uneven lines.  Add a button, more twine and you got a cute, cute card!  Let me know what you think and be sure to go grab those great SVG files!  There are lots of different cards to make n this kit!!  Don't forget your stamps too!

Halloween Cards

I am in a card swap and we make 5 cards each month.  I got a head start on my cards for Halloween and these are what I made.  The cards need to be the same or very similar, so if you wonder why they look alike, that's why!

I used the cute BRAND NEW stamps from Punkin' Patch Stamps (go check them all out!) and some cheapo ones I found at Walmart.  The set I used from Punkin' Patch Stamps is called Little Monsters.  These stamps will be available very soon!!

The ribbon and brads are also from the 97 cent bins at Walmart....so cute!!  I used quality, textured AC card stock because I wanted a "canvas" look and I didn't want the stamps to completely stamp, so they would look "old".  I stitched the sides using my sewing machine and distressed the edges using my good ol' fingernails.  I used different colored chalks to do some random coloring.  Cute and simple cards for Halloween!

Shark Card-Happy Birthday

I made this Happy Birthday Shark Card using Tropical Friends SVG Collection and Beach Bum Collection Part I from SVGCuts.  I added some thin, cotton twist yarn (this comes in several colors and it is cheap.....this color is called Limerick Twist), a few silver rhinestones, tiny silver brads and a metal tag that says "Smile".   The sentiment is just stamped in black ink on white cardstock and I used shaped cutting scissors to cut around it, then inked the edges in blue. I also put a small dot of clear craft lacquer on his eye to make it shiny.  I think it turned out pretty cute!

3D Letters "COLE"

I made my nephews name in the 3D letters from SVGCuts from their 3D Letters SVG Kit.  I think it turned out sooo cute!  His room is a beachy/fish themed room, so it will fit right in!  I also used these collections to add all the cuteness to it:  Beach Bum Collection Part II, Beach Bum Collection Part III, and Tropical Friends SVG Collection.  I love the letter "O"!  I turned it into a fish tank.  It has clear transparency sheets on both sides and I embossed them so it looks like bubbles. I did lots of embossing and inking and popped out many of the elements to give it a lot of depth.

My little boy loved it and wants one, so I will make him his own "O"-shaped fish tank for his room! :)

Easter Stuff

I have to laugh at these...these were made when I first got my Cricut and found out about SCAL.  Things have come a long way!! I don't even know where I got the files from.....just wanted to share my creations anyways!

Turtle and Frog Wooden Purse

My daughter wanted a purse for her Girl Scout troop (craft day) with these cuties on it.  She loves turtles and frogs!  The turtle is from Precious Piecings and the frog is from Lettering Delights.  My daughter added the bugs and did the inking.

Carrots for Easter

I think these are so cute.  I made them for our Easter table and had them filled with some goodies and each person went home with one.  I used different shades of orange and did some inking on the edges.  The file is from Scrapping Table.

Football Shaped Card

I turned the football from the Game Day Collection (from SVGCuts) into a large card too! Simple but cute....Go Jets!  :)

Football Lever Card

My first time making a lever card and it is so easy!  I don't know why I waited so long to make one!  Love them!!  The files I used to make this come from SVGCuts.  Here is what I used:

This was for my husband for his birthday.....he's a Jets Football Fan.  I thought it turned out pretty cute!

Oreo Cookie Milk Carton

Here is a simple and cute little project to make that would make a great gift for anyone!

The milk carton file comes from SVGCuts and is in the Spring Birdhouse SVG Kit.  I made my own little Oreo Cookies using the oval shape in the SCAL Library.  The sentiment is also from SVGCuts and comes in the Guy Cards SVG Kit.  The milk glass comes from the Beach Bum SVG Collection Part III.  I just used one of the drinks and cut off a few pieces I didn't need.

I used clear acetate and it cuts perfect on my cutting machine.  You just need to be a little gentle when folding, but it is super sturdy!  The bottom is just a scallop edge and I cut 2 to form a long strip and attached it to the bottom and then added ribbon on top of that.  Holes were punched at the top and some cute ribbon and string keep it closed.  The straw just adds some cute-ness and can be used for a glass of cold milk to go with the cookies!

I think this is so cute and would be adorable filled with many different things.  It makes it fun to be able to see through the package!
